So I had said on the previous post that I needed to do some life drawing...well I just got back and I had forgotten how much fun it is. I'll be attending every monday for a few hours from now on. Here are some of the results of the evening. For most of the session I used brush pen and marker. Hope you enjoy.

Elk

Last night I attempted to quickly sketch some Elk. I referenced a photo and tried to sketch as quickly as possible without making it look awful. I dropped some color in afterwards. this is the result. EEEEHHH....Getting back to life drawing on Monday. Loooonnnggg overdue.

Arman

So...This is what happens when you design without research....An Elephant/Armadillo/Creature thingy. I started sketching with an Armadillo in mind and just kept going....Lesson to the kids out there Research, Research, Research. Anyway hope you like it.

So I went with my girlfriend on Friday to see UP....I have to be honest it was uuuhhhhAWSOMELY FANTASTICAL! Pete Docter, and Bob Peterson, among MANY others did a wonderful job. If you haven't seen it, drop everything your doing and head to the nearest theater. Like I have to convince you.

Hansel and Gretel: Rough visual Development

First I want to THANK EVERYONE who has taken the time to drop by and have a peak at some of my work. I would also like to thank every artist that I in-turn have visited. I am always humbled by the amount and level of talent that is out there. Truly inspiring!

With that said I invite you to have a look at a small Visual Development package I put together a little while ago. I thought of a twist on the popular "Hansel and Gretel" story and wanted to give it some visuals. There is a lot of stuff missing, like Boards, color scripts, size comparisons, the witches house. Which should have been one of the first things done, but I'm still playing around with it. Turnarounds, expressions and much more. Never-the-less its a smaller version, hope you enjoy!

A few years back I wrote a children's story. This is the logo and name of the title protagonist. I'm hoping by posting this, it'll make me redraw the characters and and then finish illustrating the book. Never did find a publisher. So look out for the future link to the story...Cheers
